I drove by today. There are some cones in the lot blocking off some spaces by some manholes, but that could be totally unrelated.

I haven't seen anything about it online in their recent zoning commission minutes and honestly with the Madison rest areas getting superchargers I feel this location may be abandoned.

I tend to agree. With Madison, it would make more sense to do something in the Groton / Mystic area.

Hadn't heard about the Madison one, just checked the thread and yea with ground broken there I very much doubt this will be a priority any time soon. Thanks for the heads up!

Surprisingly there was apparently a discussion about adding EV charging regulations in the zoning commission last month. There aren't further details and not sure if Tesla would want to continue with this location anyway but nice to see for future stations, Tesla or not.

I think its safe to remove this from the map. With the Madison and New London locations now this one doesn't make any sense. Also I have been looking at the zoning commission minutes each month. They have been tabling a discussion about adding EV charging regulations last couple months. Plus no mention of Tesla anymore

Once they add Lisbon, I'd agree. This location picks up 95 and 395 traffic, but Lisbon and New London (and Madison) handle that now.

New London Supercharger!!!!

The NL supercharger is being assembled as we speak. The site is at the Chili’s in the New London mall right off southbound 95. No idea what version of supercharger but it looks like there will be 7-8 stalls.

I don’t think this one is dead yet. Tesla is selling cars much faster than they can construct SuperChargers, and the more charging locations they have along the heavily travelled 95 corridor the better.

I believe this can be taken off the supercharge map now. It is no longer on the tesla map as coming soon.
