A permit has been issued for a new 8 stall Supercharger coming to Vista Centre Shoppes. This location will serve as the Orlando - Palm Pkwy Supercharger on Tesla's map.
Sure looks like where the new I4-545 interchange will be; I thought Crossroads plaza was being demolished. I assume this area isn't part of the land for that interchange, but sure does look like access will be really hard both before and after construction?
Even as Florida’s economy slowly begins to reopen, the damning impact of coronavirus shutdowns on local businesses is beginning to show. Few places is this...
I was just reading (and cannot find it again) that FDOT is reconsidering all of their plans for the I-4 Beyond the Ultimate project, so maybe the interchange won't be as radically changed.
So, so close! It looks like the only thing missing for completion is the meter and final testing. I was hoping to get lucky and get a charge here, but not ready yet.
I stopped by again yesterday, December 10, and a crew was working on the wiring in the transformer. There is a decent chance that this supercharger will be active within a week.
Still not operational. I kinda annoyed a Model S owner today. He was sitting in his car working - mind his own business. Sorry (if you are reading this)
Palm Parkway SC is open. 10:45 am Saturday New Years day 2022. 7 of 8 stalls in use. Tesla knew what it was doing in putting a SuperCharger at this location.
