Looks like this site is under construction now.
919 Hwy D (Target)
Osage Beach, MO
It will be great to have a Supercharger at the Lake. Would have preferred it to be at the I-70 Kingdom City exit but I'll take any Missouri Superchargers we can get.
Now will I drive my S from Florida to the Lake for the Summer.

Despite all the direct routes from it to other Superchargers above, it's not on many other routes. But it is on the route between Springfield, MO and Columbia, MO (and Jefferson City, MO). But being in the area of a State Park,it seems like it's a semi-destination Supercharger.
It's absolutely, completely, made for destinations rather than something placed en route. Lake of the Ozarks draws a great deal of vacation traffic from St Louis and Kansas City.
My son-in law took these pictures today:
I was their a 2 days ago, here is the recent photos! They are now digging out more power lines! I talked to the worker their, he was excited. I live in Iberia, 20 minutes away.
For me it makes a trip from SGF to Jeff. City reasonable.
Here's some updated photos from this evening. My parents live in Eldon, MO, so hopefully they'll send me some updated pics at least once a week. Looks like the crew is making good progress, but no transformer in place yet it appears. I'm planning on driving our X out late July/early August from NC. Hoping its done by then.
Couple more pics.
This was on the 18th, yesterday. Awesome Progress!
I appreciate the updates. Columbia to Springfield trips will be much easier in the future.
Another update from May 20, 2017
Location is the HyVee grocery store, which is next to the Target
I have a trip to Jeff. City on Saturday....would sure appreciate any updates between now and then in case this goes live. Sure saves me a trip to Columbia or a stop at the Destination Charger at Sunshine Daydream.
Here's some pics from yesterday. Still no transformer and the electric meter is operational yet.
Meant to say electric meter is NOT operational yet.
Thanks, looks like we'll be driving our Highlander Hybrid on Saturday anyway given the horrific weather forecast.
As of yesterday afternoon (Wednesday May 31st), the transformer has been installed! Still no work on the electric meter yet.
Thanks again, will need that in about 3 weeks. But it looks like all that is needed is an inspection and a meter slid into place.
Will need it June 19. Fingers crossed.
Nice coverage Wednesday in the local newspaper, with a great photo:
