Every Supercharger deserves its own thread. So... July 22nd construction pictures from jgdixon at Eastern Canada Superchargers Eastern Canada Superchargers in the Eastern Canada Superchargers thread.
FYI -as of 2pm today the site had all the stalls and cables in. My next trip up north will be much faster.
Indeed CadillacJack, I bicycled past the chargers today and took a picture. Not operational yet, but looks like a few days to go.
Thanks Forty Creek; I emailed supercharge.info to ask them to revise the charging stalls from 6 to 8. Just enjoying some Forty Creek myself along with a cigar!
I don't recall many businesses within walking distance of the Microtel. Most everything is on the other side of the highway.
There's a Starbucks steps away, but yes, you need to cross Louisa St. to get to McDonalds. Louisa gets very little traffic and is easy to cross. A bit of a walk to get to Harveys/Swiss Chalet or Tim Horton's.
There are a lot of places within a 400 meter walk - which is about the same distance from the Barrie Supercharger to the main group of restaurants at the other end of the parking lot. This is pretty darn good I would say. And a big thanks to the owner of the Microtel for hosting this. I hope it translates into some more business for them.
I checked it this morning, no change. Half of the signs are General parking, the others say Tesla vehicle charging only.
