There is now some conduit in the trenches, sticking up where the chargers will go. Some sketchy activity prevented me from getting pictures this morning unfortunately. Perhaps later today when the creatures of the night relocate.
Saw the pedestals out today. Haven't really seen any other equipment but it's possible they are storing it in the structure. There really isn't a lot of room in the front little lot. Especially now with the construction going on.
They have forms in place now behind the pedestal stands for a concrete pour. But the exposed ground in the middle, as well as the large conduit holes to the West, are largely mud swamps, that are going to see 3" more rail as of tomorrow night. I think work going forward is going to depend on when the rain stops.
Not really an update but a photo of why this site will potentially be a headache. This is typical of what I see when I drive by every morning. Some large vehicle parked across all these spots because there is very little parking in this lot. Might not be as bad because it’s Pasadena and there are usually cars charging at all hours of the day so that many open spaces in a row are less likely to happen. I guess we will find out soon enough.
Site was fully taped off today. Last concrete poured between a couple of the cabinets for access path. Sign posts are in place but missing actual signage. Probably going to install rubber parking stops too I would imagine. Could be that stuff goes in today. All the construction equipment and leftover material and fencing is consolidated in one spot. Maybe this crew now heads over to the Lake Av. Shoppers Lane location? I'm assuming the last punch list item is a transformer on the pad in the second picture. If so, that is driving the opening date.
I'm not sure I would have put grass on the small strip between the pedestals. This seems like it is going to get pretty beat up. Artificial turf would have been a better choice. And they will need garbage bins easily accessible too.
After latest storm I drove by after charging at Hastings Ranch which still has 9ut of service stalls. Yep plug in for heck of it not active yet but nice to see the snow on mountains after the storm.
