I forgot to post my photos but I drove by on Friday evening and things are looking great I see the Utility transformer already in place which means we are almost at the finish line.

The typical utility transformer for a 20 stall Supercharger is 2500kVA, which leaves some headroom. 7 SC V3 cabinets can pull that continuously. Has anyone looked at the numbers on the transformer at this site to see if it indicates the size? I'm curious.

WOW! They seem to be going at record pace.:)

Are the spaces regular-sized? They look a bit narrower than normal spaces?

Looks regular sized to me. Remember these are arranged where one pedestal services "forward" and one pedestal services "backwards".
Charging vehicles will be trunk to trunk at each pair of pedestals. A recent design at locations cramped for parking spaces.

No pics but went by yesterday and a MX was charging. Only vehicle charging while Atascadero had 6 of 8 occupied. Sadly only a couple of food choices available within walking distance.
Jack in the Box
Subway
The Slice - Pizza, Beer, arcade. Never been, can't offer an opinion. Google shows 4 stars with 217 reviews.
Starbuck's

If you don't mind eating in the car there are several fast food places down the road at Hwy 46 east and Hwy 101 intersection. Go east from the 101 about a block. Carl's, McDs, Denny's, Taco Bell, KFC. A couple of independent places with decent food. Parking and access can be a drag but doable.

Just stopped by and it’s not turned on yet. Looks great though, one of the larger installs I’ve seen, and there’s a decent number of food/shopping places nearby to keep people busy for the 15-35 minutes they’ll spend charging here. In addition, due to the size of the parking lot in relation to the number of businesses, there should rarely be occurrences of ICEing.

I’ll check again tomorrow on my way to the Airport. I drive past here several times per week so I’ll try to update again when it’s turned on.

Lot of work going on today. Multiple crews finishing asphalt and digging holes in the intersection to connect to power.
Crew working around the stalls said they were waiting on the digging crew to finish before they could move forward with connecting things up. Seemed to be frustrated with how long it was taking. Should be able to connect it over the next few days, do final checks and then flip the switch shortly thereafter. Would be surprised if it was turned on in the next week.
