There was already Mid-Canada Superchargers for that. Normally the Superchargers in the Prairies don’t get their own threads until actual construction is seensupercharge.info shows there's now a permit for a 12 stall Supercharger in Regina, SK. Starting a thread where it can be discussed.
Ah. They couldn't find the link on TMC (and I couldn't find it either). I wish the search was better. There was already Mid-Canada Superchargers for that. Normally the Superchargers in the Prairies don’t get their own threads until actual construction is seen
There was only Mid-Can Superchargers and Future Superchargers in BC, Sask and Ontario that had the info on ReginaAh. They couldn't find the link on TMC (and I couldn't find it either). I wish the search was better.
This will also be a big buzz on Regina TeslasPipe dream. Ooops did I say (type) that out loud?
I actually like that we now have a Regina supercharger thread because I believe Saskatchewan may have a unique problem when it comes to Supercharger expansion/rollout.
I've heard conflicting info about the SCs here. I know myself and others are trying to figure out what the delay is. Rumour has it SaskPower may be the holdup or part of the problem, as they are definitely not EV friendly. Another rumour is that because Tesla wants to be profitable so bad from here on out that they scaled way back on expanding the network for the next while.
If anyone has concrete info on what's really going on (or not going on) regarding this stuff, let's discuss here.

They are owned by the Govt aren't they. If I remember correctly the Wall government was openly hostile to green initiatives and were leading the fight against Trudeau and the climate tax. I don't know if Moe is any different but they are from the same party. Why would SaskPower not be EV friendly? This sounds like conjecture.
He said Saskatchewan, not Regina in particular... I thinkElon said of March 14th of 2019 that this supercharger is quote "under construction." Can someone verify?
With the Winnipeg & Brandon SC moving ahead it would make more sense for a SC somewhere in the Moosimin region first. No islands. He said Saskatchewan, not Regina in particular... I think

That’s also what you guys said last year, and probably the year before. This year’s finally it?2019 is going to be a huge year for EVs in Saskatchewan.
Well didn't you read my post? Biggest investment in ev charging infrastructure in our provinces history. But that's an easy accomplishment since we don't have any public level 3 as of yet. So pretty much anything is historic. That’s also what you guys said last year, and probably the year before. This year’s finally it?
Where are you getting the info for 13 level 3 chargers? That blue dot has been coming and going from Regina for a while now.
2019 is going to be a huge year for EVs in Saskatchewan. We will get at least 2-3 supercharger locations and 14 level 3 across the province. Thank God for Suncountry and their level 2 network, that's all we currently have.
