Supercharger - Regina, SK

This site may earn commission on affiliate links.
From Google Maps, distance approximate:
Whitewood to Regina - 170km
Whitewood to Moose Jaw - 240km
So it would be nice to have some charging option in Regina for the winters.

But then, Moose Jaw to Maple Creek - 310km, while Moose Jaw to Swift Current 170km
I assume Swift Current is still a necessary stop and a supercharger is planned for there, as well as Medicine Hat.

The other direction - much easier to traverse in any weather...
Whitewood to Brandon - 180km

(I though Musk's mother was from Moose Jaw).

Well its finally happening. East Regina Canadian Tire

My mother said the Tesla SC network made the TV news with some sort of map talking everything that is going to be there within 6-9 months. Did anyone see this? She didn't mention which network this was on. Did it look legit, what appeared to be the sourcing on it? Or some hack dig up the infamous Grey Pin map and assume "well all these say by 2019"? LOL

Well, they're certainly going whole hog on the roll-out. All that's missing now is Medicine Hat to cover the Trans-Canada prairies. I hope the Bassano crew is moving on to there. (Or is that them in Swift Current?)
With Bassano on I don’t think Medicine Hat is a hard requirement, as Mapple Creek is under 250km away.

Swift Current or something nearby in that 300km gap is, though.

What Medicine Hat would add is direct SC-only route to Fort McLeod with 250km max gap. Without Medicine Hat you either are stretching in poor weather, bumping via L2 or Chademo in ‘Hat, or traveling via Bassano.

Also it’d also back off the gap even further from 250km but not clear to me that is a truly hard requirement?
