Come on guys! Gaithersburg just opened and the holidays are coming up

Yes, would have preferred these "holiday gifts to the Tesla community" a little earlier. So maybe we could try an earlier, less traffic-congested time? Sat 9:30am @ Gburg works for me (this week and next). Guess I'm in the wrong thread though, because although a drive to the beach during winter sounds cozy and relaxing (AFTER the holidays, or maybe just before NYE), can't promise because might need to do a family trip then.

There are guys digging under the Wawa sign today. A Wawa employee told me they hope to have the Superchargers operational by the end of the week. I may be down there on Saturday.

I live near dover, but I may have to make a special trip just to charge and check em out.

I'm going to go out on a limb here but come next summer when the beach is in season all day on Saturdays is going to be the Tesla meet and greet at Wawa. We will get our 45-minute charge and a cup of coffee and then sit in 90 minutes of traffic to get to Rehoboth.

The white truck was back today and a white Tesla. The bad news is the Wawa manager said they probably wont be ready now until next week.

After I posted above, six of the superchargers lit up on top and I just watched the guy with the white Model S plug into a few of them as it appears he was testing them. Hopefully at least 6 out of the 8 are working.

They are now wrapping that yellow warning tape around the stations.

There was no yellow tape as of this afternoon. Looks like they should be ready. If only I had a Tesla to test them out!

It's actually in Lewes, just north of Rehoboth.
