Awesome, thanks for the recon. I bet a lot of people who don't know about Tesla are scratching their heads. Another great marketing tool for Tesla is more and more supercharger locations.

Don't count on it being open in 7 days though. There's probably still more stuff to do beyond what the construction crew does. They usually don't connect the transformer, set the electric meter, or validate the site. I've seen those parts (just getting a transformer) take months before.

When I was there, I saw the meter, transformer cabinets and electrical work done. While I didn't get more photos, the remaining workers were doing landscaping, not construction.

This is fantastic. My apartment doesn't have EV charging yet, but with this new supercharger, I might actually be able to justify getting a Model 3 now.

Unfortunately it doesn't mean anything. Anyone can add that in. I just changed it to December 25 (will probably take some time to update)

The local Tesla club is having a opening party on Thursday, weather it is open or not

The Thursday date is nothing official, but our best guess as of a month ago.

I drove by today. To my untrained eye it looked very close to completion, just clean-up basically.

The cable for the connector looked like the usual v2 thickness. I think v3 cables are thinner.

They are indeed. They are liquid cooled too.

I drove by yesterday and saw the one guy there just cleaning up with the Bobcat (not literal brand) with "some" of the fencing taken down. I'll have to stop by later today too to check!
