A foolproof way to know if superchargers are for the public or not is if they show up in the NAV system. When this location opens but the superchargers don’t show up, then it is for store use only.I am here now. 2 V3 Superchargers. Working great. No signs indicating use restrictions. The destination chargers are labeled Authorized Use Only. Sales floor looks ready to go, parking lot is freshly seal coated and lines painted, but contractors are here working on the inside of the service center. I will post pictures later today. Not sure why there are some Tesla’s plugged in; maybe used car inventory?
My guess is that will be the case for this location.A foolproof way to know if superchargers are for the public or not is if they show up in the NAV system. When this location opens but the superchargers don’t show up, then it is for store use only.
Not 100% foolproof though. That would be a sign that Tesla don't want to encourage people to rock up and use it. It doesn't mean that you aren't allowed to. There have been a number of "stealth" superchargers which have been included on supercharge.info (and associated "visited superchargers" spreadsheets), but were never on the map.A foolproof way to know if superchargers are for the public or not is if they show up in the NAV system. This site has been vacant for a long time after Hummer dealership shut down. Due to the height, the building is clearly visible from I-94. Having a service center here will cater to those in central MN such as St. Cloud etc. I wonder from when deliveries of vehicles will be allowed here. This is great news for Minnesota to have a 3rd SC location. Here are the pics.
Note that the old Hummer off-road course is still there.
