That is a great spot. I drive from NYC to Binghamton about once a year, and the ride on 17 is much nicer than through PA. My 85D makes me nervous when it is really cold on that route. This is a great hole filler.

The time has many factors in it. The base install of the supercharger parts, etc, can take a few weeks, to a few months depending on the site work required beyond the charger cabinets. It's the hookup to the power feed that takes the time. The local power company must extend the feeder cables to the site, then place a transformer to go from the feed-in voltage to 480v for the supercharger cabinets, and of course a meter. This connection can take months. Once the meter is in and powered, tesla then stops out to do the labeling, calibration, and testing. If needed, they will also add autotransformers if they were not in the original design. (if they need those it adds a couple more weeks).
