My source showed me a page of the plans for the urban type supercharger coming to Arden Fair Mall. I'm being told there will be 20 chargers. I haven't seen any plans show up for permitting yet. I've blocked out some information from the document incase it leads back to my source.
Nice find! And excellent thread title. Thank you! You are going to get a lot of interest in who your “source” is. This is the first time I recall seeing someone post Supercharger site plans in the California forum.
Good detective work. Permit applied for. https://aca.accela.com/SACRAMENTO/Report/ShowReport.aspx?Module=Building&reportType=PRINT_PERMIT_REPORT&reportID=4141&agencyCode=SACRAMENTO Looks like its going in the nordstorm/Sears Garage. SCOPE OF WORK Please type in the scope of work here: FPP Tenant Program - Tesla to install (19) electrical vehicle charging stations and associated equipment within the Parking Lot/Garage at the Arden Fair Mall. Permit was applied for today 2/9/18
Super excited to see a 19 stall going in. Such a weird number. Ill keep my eye on this one too. This will be the closest supercharger to my home and work. I would still like to see another urban charger in South sac or downtown though. (Heck even elk Grove)
Yes, Elk Grove. Pleeeeeeeese New shopping center by Hwy 5 would be ideal. A lot of restaurants and shopping.
Well, I've relocated since I signed up for TMC. No this is not "North Bay"... I'm annoyed as it is Vacaville being called "East Bay" Its up in the valley already....
Made a quick video of my trip to the future arden super charger site this weekend. My main concern is how long it takes to get in and out of the mall lot and back to Arden Way (let alone traffic on Arden Way and the whole area itself) Also not exactly sure how they are going to configure 19 stalls, unless half of them are actually inside the garage.
Those are going to get Ice'd so much it will be frustrating. Awesome to see them going in, though. Best Buy in Natomas, Roseville Galleria, Rocklin, now let us get them south of town. We have/had a guy in Elk Grove working with the Indian Tribe to hopefully get something near the new Casino area. City council refuses to talk in town, thanks to the automall. Uugh!
I agree with you. And that mall gets packed!! Definitely see being ICED a lot. But, more is more and happy to get them.
Completely agree. More options is always better. Now I need to find out if Fairfield is open yet. Might need it tomorrow night.
My 10/2016 completed Solar City 7.56kw PPA system was waiting on permit / inspection & finally turned on 2/2017.
