lol, streetview drove by a few weeks ago and you can actually see it under construction. Looks like the other 2 parking stalls in that row are getting CCS or L2 stations.

Pretty common in both Canada and China. Almost all of the original Trans-Canada Highway Superchargers are 6 stall V3.

Looks like they might be going after government money, which requires 25% of stalls to be non-proprietary (8 stalls would mean adding a 3rd CCS). There is probably some rule in there requiring they maintain the stations at the agreed upon ratio for a few years (so no point in stubbing extra conduit). We will probably see the same thing happening in the US, as all govt $ AFC stations will be required to output 150kW simultaneously to qualify for funding (7 stalls over 3 cabinets?)
