Permit B17-1210 popped up for "TESLA CHARGING STATIONS @ OUTLETS AT SC". It is at the 2-story parking garage of the Outlets at San Clemente, 99 West Avenida Vista Hermosa.. There hasn't been any action on the permit application yet since it was just applied for today.

With so much complaints about San Juan Capistrano Supercharger local squatters this is great news indeed!

That is a great location. Freeway close, restaurants, shopping. Incredible ocean views. And a Nike Factory store!
Just hope the locals don't ruin this location

I've heard from a source I cannot name, that there will be 16-20 stalls at this Supercharger.

Hope it is true, San Juan Capistrano is terrible.

Yes, build a 100-stall supercharger station at San Onofre!

This place has the nicest restroom I ever seen in the outlet mall.

OMG, this is great, even if several years overdue. 16 stalls would be the minimum I hope for, as I can guarantee that even that would be completely full within a week of it's opening. 20 would be better, and hopefully supplemented by a FV expansion (SJC is a lost cause, and was from the beginning).

Supposedly Vista and Carlsbad are getting SCs by the end of the year. All three locations will significantly reduce wait times for us who commute the LA - SD corrider. SJC is a joke. I was getting 24 kw today. They are supposedly doing an overhaul next week to try to get the charge times up. This location will be a great addition to avoid SJC completely.

I found this interactive permit search system for the City of Vista, but could not find any mention of Superchargers:
    Story Map Tour

With Vista and Carlsbad being immediately adjacent to each other, I would be (pleasantly) surprised if they both got Superchargers

    Great news.
Still badly need one east of San Diego for folks leaving or coming in from the southwest. Qualcomm is out of the way for those drivers.

There are plans for a new chain hotel in El Cajon soon. Perhaps it will include a new SC,
