This pano shot is from yesterday. Looked liked most of the wiring at the individual Supercharger stations was completed. Someone was working on the wiring on the back side of one of the power cabinets.

today is clean up day.. fence being moved out, landscaping finishing up, dirt and mess cleaned up, stalls put under wraps or yellow tape. Just waiting for the transformer at this point. The work across the street is an enigma - huge hole with conduit (or irrigation pvc) placed and today a brick retainting wall getting the final touches.. based on the folks doing the work, seems more like irrigation stuff than electrical. Now the wait starts

Not sure why irrigation would require such a massive hole in the ground, though. Has anyone taken a close look to see what the label is on the vault cover next to the hole? Maybe that would offer a clue.

Today there is work happenning on both sides of the street. There were definitely some landscapers at the supercharger side. Two things that suggest to me that the work across the street is related to the supercharger: There were some gigantic pieces of conduit laying around the work site, which I think must be electrical. And there were workers running back and forth across the street, from one site to the other. Perhaps they just were parked over there to avoid blocking the street, but it seemed like a very dangerous way to do it, whatever the purpose was!

Definitely not irrigation, the company doing the work is an air conditioning, fan company. Not sure that helps the puzzle. Here are some pics - definitely related to sdge.

well, you need to ignore the photos from above.. the construction folks went at it today with a backhoe and lots of elbow grease... they tore down the new retaining wall and tore into the area and extended the hole. head scratcher

When I drove by yesterday, it looked like the retaining wall had been rebuilt. I think they worked all weekend on it.
