I don't think my 13 MS p85 or 16 MX P90 DL can take advantage of V3. oh well. Free is still free!

For sure. I think any V3 charger is preferred over the V2. The V2 now do not prioritize arrival time. They just share power. Really hate this when it is full because you don't know which cars are currently drawing a lot vs who is almost done. Also if you are charging unshared, later cars who arrive later can really screw you by just charging next to you. Ironically driving to this station might save you time compared to the Qualcomm charger even if you coming from the 5. LOL

I was saying more about the sharing problem of the V2. V2 use to prioritize those who got there first. Now they don't and granted you won't be long on the higher charging rate if you are unshared for your p85 or P90D, I have noticed the V2 are wildly inconsistent in terms of charge rate when shared. Mine has gone from charging 86KW unshared to to 45KW when shared with a model 3. I had to move to another unshared stall to get the 86KW charge rate back. Maybe the model 3 was drawing a lot more and thus taking more. At least with the V3 supercharger you are not sharing power.

I saw this yesterday. The pin isn't accurate and it's located at Target, Mira Mesa! Seems almost complete.
If you mean the pin on the Tesla "find us" map, it's been established for a number of years that the pins for Superchargers under construction aren't in the exact location (often they're placed at the geographic center of the city, although that might not be true in this case). They get updated when the site goes live.

Bruce.

I thought SDG&E was usually pretty quick to get their transformers placed at Superchargers. The photos also make it look like they have pre-piped it for one more cabinet and 4 more stalls. Do you see where the extra stalls might go? There appears to be space between the cabinets and the row of 6 stalls. That would make the final configuration two rows of 10 stalls.

There’s construction on Mira Mesa Boulevard tonight, right around that area. Two lanes were closed in each direction, and they were digging on both sides of the street. I didn’t see any SDG&E trucks, but it seems likely related to the supercharger.

Reagan Road was also completely closed on the north side of Mira Mesa Boulevard, but that may be for something else.
