Anyone have any insights into where the 3rd San Luis Obispo supercharger location is going to be? Tesla's "Find Us" map has stated a new location coming in Q4 2021, with a pin in the downtown area. Haven't seen anything on this forum or supercharge.info about it yet.

The location of future Find Us pins doesn't mean anything. It just means that it's in that city. It could be an expansion of an existing site or it could be a new site anywhere in the city.
Agree. Could be a farce. The LOVR stall however did have the pin off the LOVR exit back before we knew the location, so it might also not.
In this specific case, the pin is attached to the San Luis Obispo text on the map. I am quite certain that this is not indicative of the future location.

The pin for the first San Luis Supercharger was also downtown. When they pull the permit, the location will be correct.

It's located by the Farm Supply, next to the yet-to-be-opened SLO Public Market.
I saw the chargers all sitting on in the parking lot, ready for install.

Very cool! I was part of Thanksgiving Meltdown 2018 (and 2019?) and am so excited to see them adding so many new stations. It appears they are starting to locate stations at same exits in some cases... like southbound travelers would use Los Osos and NB would use this new one?

This is awesome the next time I am back in SLO I will definitely check on the progress of this. I am always shopping at the Trader Joe's across the street.
That Public Market is over 2 years behind schedule. They have some cool shops, food and drink places going in, but if Tesla opens this station before the market opens, it’s going to be a boring spot. Across the street to the south is a Starbuck’s and Trader Joe’s, among a few other small places.

I drove by the site today and this site looks to be close to opening. They need to do some more clean up of the site and paint the parking lines but PGE transformer is installed which is typically one of the last hurdles. 20 stalls here V3 is a large site and this makes 3 in SLO city alone. Glad to see the continued expansion.

The market should be open by end of year, they posted a week or so ago they were waiting on some final inspections and that was it.
