my wife was there around 3pm and saw 2 workers. she asked them if they where working on the Superchargers. they told her they didn't know what they where working on there. why are chargers so secretive.
This should have a very positive effect on Madonna Inn's business. It's already a destination for many, and now, it will be more of a destination. They are pretty smart making the property available to Tesla.

Indisputable proof this is a Supercharger station! Woo hoo! Although we will seldom use it, there was the one time if forgot to fully charge the night before a trip to SF and had to drive 55 MPH from Salinas to Gilroy to make it. I was less than popular in the slow lane as tractors were passing me.

That’s exactly what I did. A semi was lumbering along at 55 and I set AP and just followed him. It was actually quite low stress with everyone else blowing by me in the fast lane.
[The new Superchargers will be installed at the entrance to the Madonna Inn. Ironically, in the shadow of the old abandoned gas station. A sign at the Atascadero Supercharger confirms that a 10 stall Supercharger will be installed in SLO early2018. Pictures from yesterday during the great wind and rain storm.
