Nothing else comes even close. I think the next largest site within a hundred miles is Buena Vista with 24 stalls. In fact, this may be the largest site in California. Firebaugh has 56 stalls.
I'll bet it would be considered a building or structure at that point and require different permitting, if it's just held up by a canopy no one's expecting you can climb on it or store objects on it.
Nope. Shanghai holds that title, twice. Once for the biggest Supercharger at 64 stalls at Giga3, until people found out it isn’t public, and now a 72-stall in a business center. SM will be the biggest V3 in the world if approved
Yet utterly impossible to get to from the 405. Traffic is miserable there. This is definitely for locals.
Planning Commission meets at 7pm tonight. Here is the agenda, which has a link to the live stream: https://www.smgov.net/departments/pcd/agendas/Planning-Commission/2021/20210303/a20210303.htm
You are correct. On their main page, it says meetings are on Wednesdays at 7pm, but that is likely an outdated website
But the most important question still remains unanswered: Will this site see the first deployment of the 200' tall Tesla monolith? RT
Does anyone have documents on how we came up with 62 stalls I am very skeptical of it being this large of an installation especially in a place like Santa Monica. Edit: Nvm I found the City planning link and this is two projects together 1401 Santa Monica is 36 stalls and 1421 Santa Monica is 26 stalls which is how we get 62.
There are signs at LA superchargers saying over 100 new superchargers coming soon to LA... I guess they are counting these
The signs used to say, at the beginning of 202, 200 new V3 stalls coming to LA area by end of 2021. If it’s down to 100 then they’re well on their way to achieving their goal.
