That's an interesting site design. A couple of observations:
1. The title block is interesting and appears to reference a different site. The Moose Lodge in Placerville is getting an ESS??
2. The plot on the right has 26 stalls and 7 cabinets fed by one utility transformer. This is probably the nominal max 28 stalls per transformer used at the Firebaugh site, but they couldn't fit the last two parking spaces.
3. The plot on the left has 36 stalls and 9 cabinets fed by one utility transformer and a Megapack. Presumably, the Megapack will supply the excess demand potentially taken by the extra two cabinets. This is on the assumption that the same size utility transformer will be used.
I know the Councilmembers here -- they've gone full socialist/commie, even the ones recently elected claiming they're pro business. This poor landowner -- his land is basically worthless... NO ONE in santa monica with empty land is allowed to build anything besides homeless or low income housing. What their obsession is with turning a nice city into a Mecca for low income is beyond me -- you don't see Beverly Hills spending taxpayer dollars and eminent domaining good land for this stuff...
We here in Pasadena welcome Tesla to now focus on building a third Supercharger in Pasadena. Per the city council, each site generates about $1,000,000 revenue per year for power.
GOOD NEWS!!! I have been lobbying the city council very aggressively but politely, focusing on the facts. You heard it here first: council just told me they'll be grandfathering this project next week and reversing their rejection - project to be formally approved next week! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
