Just what the Canada sub-forum needs is more outrageous speculation. Still don't get why anyone thinks the TCH superchargers are going to be activated in a different manner than the other 1,000+ superchargers worldwide.

You can probably blame me and my ‘activation at the Cybertruck event’ rumor. I don’t think anyone thought differently before that.

I was poking around my in-car map and noticed that SSM and some of the eastward locations were showing up on the map, though marked as Temporarily Closed.

Tomorrow or so, they’ll probably show as open. It’s even possible they’re open now, because Tesla has probably just surveyed them, so they would have to be turned on. Great news!

P.S. but it’s weird! I can’t find the locations on my map.

Just double-checked the website and these are all still shown as coming soon, so it seems the in-car map is more up-to-date than the website map.

They showed up this morning on my map. Oddly though, Deep River still does not show. I’m expecting all the stations from SSM to NB to go live today.

Usually that temporary closure marker only lasts a day or 2 before it shifts to red. Still, I don’t know if my hunch is wrong because no one and passed at any of the sites yet to see if the location is working yet.

Makes sense when you point it out. But here in Canada NB is the short form for New Brunswick, a Maritime province which is what made me question a typo.

tried charging there 5 minutes ago - not charging at all.

PlugShare is showing the SC as available now, and I think PS's policy is that only Tesla is allowed to put SC's on the map (right?). So, that suggests that Tesla has declared this SC as active and available.
