Supercharger - Shaker Heights, OH

A new Supercharger is planned in Shaker Heights, OH.

Last month, a proposal was submitted to the city's sustainability committee for a 12-stall Supercharger in the city-owned parking section of Shaker Plaza.

Will be tracking progress as the project goes forward.

Drove by last night, no signs of construction or movement. It should be a great location for charging!

On May 23rd, city council adopted an emergency ordinance in order to approve the Supercharger Agreement and accelerate the installation.

Shaker Plaza. That’s near Chagrin Blvd. For some reason I was thinking Shaker Square.

We go to Van Aken weekly for coffee from Rising Star and noticed on Sunday that they were paving the parking lot where this Supercharger is planned to be installed. We didn't see any other signs of construction though, but maybe this is the beginning!

Swung by over the weekend and noticed some construction near the Van Aken bus stop! No sign of Tesla labeled crates or boxes, but I will keep an eye and update accordingly.

This is the one I'm truly waiting for since my relatives live nearby. Would be convenient to them. Maybe to convenient since it would only be a five minute drive. No preconditioning time if driving straight there from there home.

However, after reviewing this thread, has this permit actually been issued?
