Yes, Congratulations and Thank You for the information. It is now possible to make Birmingham from Dallas in 3 steps of about 220 miles. I've not pushed my 90D that far between charges in the 5.5 months I've had it but may try it if Lindale, Jackson, and Meridian don't come on line soon.

Assuming you mean Lindale, Monroe and Meridian - and 220 is long legs, but the 90D should be up for that with full charges.

Is Monroe a confirmed location? It isn't on supercharge.info

It is as confirmed as it can be without a permit being issued and construction underway.

So, having said that I guess it's possible that some unforeseen snag or hangup could still derail a supercharger in Monroe but I'm confident we will see one there.

(Without divulging anyone's sources this is about all that can be said.)

Charged here last night for an hour.
Rate of charge was as high as 89kw.

Spent the night in town, returned to the Shreveport SC this afternoon to top off before returning to Alexandria and ROC never got gigher than 43 kw.
Pretty frustrating....

These numbers are meaningless without knowing your strength of charge at the beginning of each charging session.

Obviously this thread is very old, but for an update, the Shreveport SC appears to be well maintained, 6/20-21/2020.
We made a marathon DAL-NOLA-DAL trip, and now that the Lindale, Shreveport and Alexandria (The KEY!) SCs are open, quite a nice (even though 49 is boring as can be) trip.
A couple of notes, however - stay on top re Alex. SC. It can get ICEd due to events at the hotel.

---> Finally, be very careful at the Shreveport SC at night. You are in a well lit area at the SC, but the surrounding area is unlit. The neighborhood - well, be very aware of your surroundings. We were there at Midnight on a Saturday night, and very much alone.
I parked a little farther from the dispenser and left the screen with "UNLOCK CHARGER" up so if need be I could vacate in short order.

I used to live in Shreveport, and it grieves me to write this, but it is what it is. I'm grateful that the SC is there, it should get a lot of use.

I've used this location several times. Not the best location but certainly not the worst.

When traveling west on i20, the Nav wants one to exit on Fairfield Ave. This is NOT the best way to get to the SC.

Instead, go a little further and take i49 south. Take the next exit to the right, Kings Hwy. The Nav will then want you to make a right turn but ignore it, make a left turn and go east on Kings Hwy. Then, at the next light, go right on St. Vincent Ave. That will take you to the mall where the SC station is on your left.

When returning to i20, go northeast on St. Vincent, then make a left at Kings Hwy. You'll be going west where you can make a right to get on the frontage road back to i49 north and it's easy to go either east or west on i20.

Note that when driving east on i20, the Nav will route you to i49 south/Kings Hwy, but it will direct you to go west at Kings. As stated earlier, ignore that and go east.

Cheers.

Went through again this weekend round trip. In the daylight. The poor shopping center is on it last legs, but it seems Dillard's and the Piccadilly Cafeteria are soldiering on. S/C still at the edge of nowhere. Nearest convenience store has no rest rooms. Burger King shake machine never has worked. There's a Cane's and McDonald's and a couple of others on the route prescribed when returning to 49 North.

My grandparents used to take me to Hamel's Amusement Park when I was a child and we'd often eat at Picadilly Cafeteria. As an adult, I've been to some of the casinos, bars, and clubs around Shreveport. About a decade ago, I used to enjoy visiting The Boardwalk on the weekend to shop and eat at Cheesecake Bistro. I hadn't been in years until last year. I was sad that Cheesecake Bistro was long gone and half the stores were empty. Very depressing! I haven't been back. I might take a trip there some weekend to visit Picadilly for the nostalgia.

I visited Piccadilly last weekend and used these Superchargers.

I wonder why they're "only" 29¢/kWh when nearly every other Supercharger in this part of the country is about 36¢/kWh?
While my hat is off to this location for being the first Supercharger in the area, it is really dodgy at night. It is in a sketchy neighborhood, really isolated, and a pool of light in a sea of darkness with no amenities. If you MUST use it after dark, in the wee hours, please be aware of your surroundings and prepared to move. We used to have to use it on the DAL-MSY trips, and ended up there around 0200. Never an incident, but once we did leave quickly after a car with no lights passed by slowly, turned around, and approached.
This Supercharger really would be better if reloacted to one of the truckstops out on the Interstate.
Fortunately for us, Natchitoches is open at a pretty nice convenience store.
