Yeah. It looks like they have room for at least 8 stalls in that part of the lot. Oh well. I'm still hoping they'll add one somewhere between Eagle and Frisco one of these days as that would help lighten the load at this location.
Absolutely need something in the vail-edwards area. I feel like In Colorado you need something between every pass. I’d rather than 4 stalls at every exit off i70 than 16 in silverthorne.
At the very least, 2 or so of those urban chargers that are at the 72kw rate. Anything to be helpful during those cold winter nights with the elevation gains.
Since they are at the entrance to the parking lot, it might be kind of busy. Hopefully Starbucks customers don't get impatient waiting for Teslas to back up and charge.
Is it me or does the pedestal that has the cover off appear to be on the wrong side of the spot. I would have to park on the end half on the dirt to access it.
Just use the spot on the left. They still have two more pedestals to install. One goes between the two currently installed pedestals and the other goes on the right. The large red posts are centered at the rear of each parking spot.
I see the missing pedestal now. The pavement on the end spot just didn’t look full width like your right wheels would be in the dirt.
Any updates on these four new installations? I’ll be charging Saturday in the AM on my way to DIA. If anyone doesn’t have any updates before then, I’ll send a photo on the forum.
The two chargers on the right were live this past weekend. I used them on Saturday and Sunday. The two on the left were presumably not working yet as they still were blocked off. The chargers are only V2, not sure if that was already mentioned or not.
All 12 were showing as active last week too but only 10 were. Could be complete now though. weird it says up to 250 kw. Definitely not the case last week. It was V2
New SuperCharger Map on Tesla.Com says "Target opening in Q4 2021" for this Silverthorne location. I've charged there before. Is that mistaken or is it being rebuilt?
Hopefully they'll add a new v3 location on the east side of I-70 and then come back and upgrade the existing location to v3.
Slightly off-topic, but has anyone tried the Electrify America chargers in Frisco with an adapter? Could they be used as a backup for when these SC are full/inoperable?
