A new low. Urban Supercharger speed on a V3

Went to a different stall this time too.


There was an S and a Y there. Talked to the owner of the Y and he was only getting around 90kW at the time and thought he was suppose to be getting more. The S wasn't getting a lot either.


So it's not only me. Doesn't seem like this charger is fully optimized to deliver its full energy output consistently


Gonna call Elon and talk to him about this

Charged this morning when I had around 20%. Got up to 209kW for a minute or two then went down to 187kW. All down hill from there. Mostly stayed around 120kW. Total time charged was 15 mins, got 130 miles.

It is the most bizarre V3 I have seen.
I arrived with 8%.
At 15%, the power reached 153 kW.
Then at 17%, it went down to 91-93% and stayed at this level for a long time.

P.S. Stalls are marked as nA and nB.
Does it ever get done for V3s?

Good representation of high speed charging profiles. I think Tesla will take notice and make adjustments as needed to this SC install.

Well, my car was finally able to achieve it's max kW, but it sure didn't last very long! Started dropping shortly after and then stayed around the ~90 kW's about 2 minutes after that for the remainder of charging.

Didn't feel like it was any faster than normal though. I'm just use to waiting 20-40 minutes to charge so I couldn't tell a difference


So V3 confirmed But it's not very consistent.

Did anyone noticed that the stalls are labeled 1a,1b,1c thru 1d, 2a-2d, 3a-3d
Instead of the usual pairing of 1a-1b, 2a-2b, etc?

They are labeled with the usual markings for V3 superchargers, which is #A to #D because each V3 supercharger cabinet is connected to 4 stalls instead of 2 stalls like V2 supercharger cabinets.

As of Yesterday, Sept4, 2021 - Tesla added 4 more charging stations to this installation. Yay!

Not sure how Tesla is doing their math but the in car and Tesla app show 22 stalls now. They did install 4 more physically (as mentioned by sdandersonjr) but the tesla plug is dangling over the top so I assume they are not yet working. I think the new number will be 16. I'll stop by this week to take pics and confirm unless someone beats me to it.
