I live 80 miles away in Columbia SC and this SC is on the way to my son's just 4 miles east in Charlotte.

Curious if anyone knows what they are building in the Stonecrest Target parking lot. Could this be a Target store where they are planning to install more electric vehicle charging stations??

A horizontal boring machine is occupying a few of the spaces.
I saw a guy last night measuring out something from the road (N. Community House).

Went by this afternoon, no stalls yet. Excited about the new location!

They were working on site today.
Horizontal boring machine was working in front of the transformer.
Hopefully this gets the transformer energized and we see the pedestals by end of week (wishful thinking)

Impressive! I had a lovely 8 mile run in the rain this morning but I'll take it over the ridiculous heat/humidity of a few weeks ago!

All the heavy equipment is gone this morning. The pavement in front of transformer still needs to be fixed up.

I was there in the evening. Yup lots of high voltage wires but still more to do

We must live right around the corner from each other! I drive by there every day to and from work as well!
