Horrible location... I mean come on Tesla... Really??? Having a SC there is better than nothing for sure but it's practically useless for anyone coming in from 50 which is where the majority of traffic in/out of SLT comes from... It should have been put quite a bit further south...

Yah a better location would be at the pin below but it's only 5 miles out of the way so I'm not complaining. I may use this SC in winter when I go to mammoth via Tahoe; more amenities here than Gradnerville SC.

Wow! Awesome! Thanks for sharing members. Just booked our stay at Squaw Valley this coming weekend and planning to head down to South Lake Tahoe on our way back next Sunday. Will try to stop by and get some updates. Great news!

Not at all saying that I represent everyone, but the stateline location is preferable for me than the "Y" or whatever you guys were calling it. This probably isn't where Californians would have wanted it but for people visiting from the north or from the Reno area, this is a better spot.

Sigh.

Who will be first to start charging, walk to the heavenly gondola, ski a couple laps, and get back to their car before charging completes?

Well, hopefully those idle fees would make this less of a desirable option. Plus, the hard rock is actually the furthest casino from the gondola and not really a desirable walk carrying a snowboard/skis and in boots. I am actually pleased they picked this garage vs harrahs/harveys, and as long as the idle fees are implemented here I don't see a problem with people abandoning cars in supercharger spots while skiing/boarding.
