Supercharger - Staten Island, NY - Richmond Ave

Another survey for what seems to be a new Supercharger on the horizon on Staten Island, near the Stop & Shop. I expect this location to be a while as Carle Place and Shirley are still nowhere near opening and their surveys were done long before this one. It isn't even on Tesla’s map yet!

What's crazy is that they can't get any Superchargers up and running in South Brooklyn. The one off they Belt has been in planning limbo for years now.....

I agree. Driving to or through Brooklyn from jersey sucks. At least the jfk charger is upgraded, finally.

Looks like they finally fenced off the lot in the stop and shop lot in bullshead for the future supercharger site!

It's been officially added, although I think they just pinned the center of the island as there's no place to put a supercharger on the 18th green of LA tourette golf course and judging by the progress made I'd be willing to say it will be complete by q1 instead of q2 2023

Looks like there will also be 2x chademo, and 2x ccs1 combo chargers as well as the first stalls going up

Rainy day update:

All 12 stalls have been installed and the high voltage cabinets. Sign went up for evgo chargers.

Can't wait till this is online. Just got my first Tesla last week and haven't had time to get the electrician out to hardwire everything. This will be much better then running over to Elizabeth for 250k chargers

Stop & Shop · 1441 Richmond Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314 site of future Staten Island Supercharger, who said he’ll reach out to Corporate to see if they’ll sponsor a ribbon cutting ceremony with TOCNYS here. Next steps is to reach out to Tesla Showrooms to see if they’ll do Test Drives. EVGo to see if they’re interested as well. Does anyone have any contact info for NYC Tesla Showroom/Gallery Managers?

You live in Staten island?

Yes I do. I'm over upper Todt Hill. The one time i've went so far to a supercharger I shot over to elizabeth as it was actually closer then going to the south shore as well as the chargers are all 250kw.
