I looked up the property. Between Taco Bell and Starbucks are two fairly equal size lots. The currently paved area covers the West lot, 116 Clover Leaf Loop. This picture is the East lot towards Starbucks.
I’ve been to that Starbucks on many a trip up and down the 5 corridor. Unfortunately, this charger is just a little too close to home to be super beneficial. I think on most trips I’ll be at a 70% SOC when I get there.
Maybe plug in, go get coffee, use the bathroom and head out. On the return it’s similar, though perhaps it’ll save me a stop at the crappy truck stop at Myrtle Creek.
Should take a lot of pressure off the local Superchargers. I just wish instead of putting one in Creswell they’d put one in Florence. The pain is much greater along the coast then it is to do things along the 5 corridor.
Is there going to be a meet-up? There was an unofficial get-together for the Fort Stockton, TX opening since it was the "golden spike" that connected up I-10 and it was a fun event.
