There is no high speed charger in Florence at all so while it would save me from driving all the way to Lincoln City or Bandon! To charge up, not a huge help. I did end up driving past a CCS charger, but when I did it Tesla was not selling their CCS adaptor in the US. I have the adaptor now, but it’s likely the Newport Supercharger will be in before I have a chance to put it to use. 🤣

Tesla is adding a charger at Coos Bay and Newport which helps quite a bit.
There is a EVCS 50kW CCS charger in Florence at the Three Rivers Casino parking lot. There is also a 50kW CHAdeMO and 7kW 1772. There is also one just south in Reedsport and just north in Yachats. 50kW is not the most ideal but it's not bad.

The one in Reedsport was non-functional when I stopped there.

Did not know about the Casino one, is that new? I'll keep that one in mind. We wound up begging at a hotel downtown and they let us use it.

I just need enough juice to get back to Eugene so a 50 kW charger should be fine. The big problem with 50 kW chargers isn't the speed, it's the likelyhood that they are camped by someone trying to get a full charge.

I believe the one in Florence has been upgraded over time with new hardware(maybe over the last year or so). Plugshare has pretty good reviews on it and shows some teslas pulling ~48kW with the adapter, but yea quite limited space with one charger. Good amenities however

Ogre quit being such an ogre. What's the total Tesla count so far? I'll be in Eugene this weekend. I'm kind of a loner recluse, but if I'm needed I might brave it.
In this case, not being an Ogre at all. Heading up to Portland for a GTG with a few of the $TSLA nerds. I’m sure you are welcome. I tried to talk them into coming to Sutherlin, but some are coming from Seattle and Canada and they drew the line at Portland (hard to blame them).

If you are around on Sunday we can meet for a beer and sushi. I have an Alesong Membership and can set you up with a flight.

Tesla Owners Oregon has Postponed the Sutherlin Supercharger Meetup to March 18:

Our Event at the Sutherlin Oregon Superchargers scheduled for Saturday March 4th has been postponed and rescheduled for Saturday March 18th due to a pretty ugly weather forecast.
If you can make it on the 18th, please Register on our site - you'll see the new event announcement there. We are hoping for better weather and our goal still remains to have all 51 Supercharger stalls filled. Help spread the word to fellow Tesla owners.
