All 76 chargers are open now. I just used one of the new ones this weekend and the site was almost full around 1:30pm on a Sunday

Or McD’s … ;-0Thank you everyone for their input on the Tejon stations. From the feedback it seems like the NB Outlet side is the one to go to unless I REALLY REALLY want In n Out.
The hours on the in car nav are correct. The outlets security has gates that are locked at night and you can't get to the chargersCould someone confirm whether or not this location is still operating on limited hours?
At supercharge.info we have it listed as open from 4:30am-11pm, but Tesla's Find Us site (which is frequently incorrect) displays this location as open 24/7.
Just note that in the early morning, before the stores are opened, the only bathroom available is at the other end of the Outlets, where the admin office is. See my previous post on page 7.The hours on the in car nav are correct. The outlets security has gates that are locked at night and you can't get to the chargers

But adding some bollars seems to be needed to avoid any (malicious or not) damage:

It bothered the workers too since they were concerned that folks would be hitting the chargers but they said they had orders to do so from up above.
There are plenty of pictures of the CT at V3 chargers but the cords are stretched to the limit and there are no stops. It’s not a coincidence that all these reports of stops being removed are in Texas and CA which are the only locations where CT is being sold right now.It seems that the CyberTruck will need a longer cable than the current V3 Supercharger offers.
Here is a picture of a CyberTruck at a V4 Supercharger:

Probably regulations prevent it. Same reason you can’t put a gas filler nozzle behind the rear license plate anymore. Tesla has decided to cater to the crowd paying $120k for a truck instead of safety precautions for their infrastructure. Another botched part of the CT. Why isn’t the charge port at the back near the tailgate?
So the every other Tesla is now illegal? Its part of the rear tail light assembly. That’s more what I was imagining. Not part of the tailgate but adjacent. Rear driver corner.Probably regulations prevent it. Same reason you can’t put a gas filler nozzle behind the rear license plate anymore. For rear end crash scenarios.
You’d have to ask Franz. I’m sure they thought of it. I doubt it was a mistake per se. They truly aren’t that stupid. So the every other Tesla is now illegal? Its part of the rear tail light assembly. That’s more what I was imagining. Not part of the tailgate but adjacent. Rear driver corner.
That was to put the fuel tank forward of the rear axle to avoid conflagration from that rear-end crash. EVs don't carry all of that explosive fluid like gas cars though so unless there are poorly written regulations, they should not apply.Probably regulations prevent it. By regular maintenance switch outs you mean swapping V3 stalls for V4? That’s the only way to get longer cords now and that isn’t regular maintenance as it requires rewiring all the stalls. Seeing as how V2 stalls are still going strong, it’ll be a long time before regular maintenance requires V3 stalls to be switched out. That was to put the fuel tank forward of the rear axle to avoid conflagration from that rear-end crash. I'll guess that we start seeing longer cables as they do the regular maintenance swap-outs and then the stops go back in.
No, they swap out the cables quite regularly due to the high wear on the connectors.By regular maintenance switch outs you mean swapping V3 stalls for V4?
Is there any indication they have or will install longer ones? No, they swap out the cables quite regularly due to the high wear on the connectors.
Nope, I'm just pointing out that it would be easy and I'm predicting it may happen. Time will tell.Is there any indication they have or will install longer ones?
