I feel somewhat better, but still waiting on pictures. There have been several cases on other threads when hotel desk clerks gave misinformation, either through ignorance or just to mess with the caller.

I really hate this town and I've never even been there.

The residents are not all academically challenged as the comments suggest. Texarkana was hometown of EDS founder Ross Perot a tech industry pioneer.

Fun read. Some act like they are actually interested and open. But. Wow.

This, unfortunately, is extremely common in rural parts of the south (and other areas I assume as well). The Sulphur Springs supercharger got the same kind of treatment. I'm friends with the mayor, and it was mind boggling the things that were said and the problems that arose out of that.

Sounds like they need to give away a free model 3 at each rural supercharger opening. Must have verifiable address within 10 miles to be eligible.

Had a friend take some pictures on his way to Dallas this AM. Nothing new to report still plastic covering the stalls and cones in place. Don't know whether the transformer or meter are in place. Maybe by Christmas.

Usually, when they are at that point, they are waiting for the power company or for it to just be commissioned. A Supercharger tech will come to Dallas and grab a loaner, then drive out there to turn it on. They like to make it to where they can do more than one, per trip. Since we haven't found the Little Rock permit, but know "something" is in the works, they might be waiting for that one to be ready, as well.
