A new Supercharger seems to be under construction in Thornton Colorado (237 E 120th Ave, Thornton, CO 80233)!

Like the Supercharger in Brighton, both Superchargers will be located at Kum&Gos. There seems to be 2 V3 cabinets on site, so probably 8 stalls.

Photos by Michell Blackmore on a tip from @ColoradoEV on the Supercharge Info forum. Will update the map!

Does anyone know if Tesla has a regional agreement with Kum & Go, like the one with Wawa on the east coast? Or is 2 new chargers, both at K&G, just a coincidence?

Including Idaho Springs, we now know of three being built at Kum & Go locations so I'm pretty sure they have a regional agreement.

I just checked Conifer and Golden but didn't see any signs of construction at those locations

FWIW the Sherburn, MN and Altoona, IA superchargers are also hosted by Kum & Gos. They have been active for 2 years and 1 year respectively.

Seems decently far along as well. This is about the perfect spot for my Denver and back trips from Wyoming! No need to charge way up if I can stop for a quick top off there.

Thanks for the shout out, but gotta be honest, credit is not due to me. Michell is the one who tipped me off and provided me location data. I simply did the clerical work of entering the data on Supercharge.info.

This will be HUGE for those of us in Northern Colorado. Only having options at Loveland and then on the South end of Denver makes for some stressful occasions. Having a couple of spots on the North end of Denver will be great for people who live North of town.

It will indeed be nice to have more Superchargers in the metro area. Does this happen often where new SCs appear that aren't on Tesla's map as planned sites? I'm still hoping for the Wheat Ridge location to open and have one nearer my house for the occasional charge, as well as having an I-70 unit on the west side of the city.

It happens but not as much recently. We found a couple unannounced Superchargers back in 2016 and 2017 and we did just find one in Hawthorne in November 2019. Colorado hasn't had any new Supercharger locations since 2018 so it's nice to see three that are currently under construction. Hopefully there are actually a few other undiscovered ones that will come online soon as well.

We've been scouting the proposed Wheat Ridge location since the permit was first discovered but have never seen any signs of construction. Hopefully they start building it soon. Like you, I'll probably never need to use it but it will be nice for travelers since it could spread out the load around the metro area.

I went by this morning and got a few more pictures. This site is not currently under construction but is basically ready and waiting for Tesla equipment. I’m not sure if they now have everything they need or if they’re still waiting. But it will go fast once they have everything and start back up.

There's a Kum & Go on the far side of Conifer, so it seems entirely plausible that it may go in there as well. It's down the hill a bit from the main part of Conifer, but in a decent spot nonetheless

No sign of anything at the Conifer location so far.

Went by the morning of 2/5 and the electricians are still working on it. Looks like they’re working in the enclosure as they have a big black tarp covering the top to keep the snow out!

Anyone have an update on this location?

The charging situation in Denver is terrible ... 2 supercharging locations for a City this size ... smh .. smh

Who's decision was this ... and why are they still working? ...

Stopped by tonight as I was working across the street. Cabinets are up but wrapped in plastic. So maybe soon?

I believe once the Idaho Springs stalls were up, it was around three weeks later they went online.
