Damn! That is some major progress since the last update. Looks like it is about done and ready for the transformer

Unfortunately it's been in this state for about a month. Even the plastic-wrapped pallet of what looks like cable has been sitting there for some time. I had hoped it was in the "substantially complete" state several weeks ago when mounds excavated dirt were restored along Lynn Rd.

Hey Bruce,
Let’s just say I know a guy that knows a guy. You can read page 1 of this thread for accuracy on my statements regarding this supercharger. We are almost there. Can’t wait!!

I was just talking about this location with my kids today and wondered what the deal was. The site looks basically finished, so maybe the wait is due to utilities and/or permits?

I was not challenging your knowledge of the site @Black_P85, and thanks for the update; I only questioned the info as I drive by the site every day (most days twice a day) and it really looks like nothing has happened in at least two months. I doubt I will use it much since I live 2 miles away, except when I forget to plug in, but it will be nice to have it there for this reason.

I drove by today. It looks like utility transformer cabinets (large green cabinets) are in the process of being installed on the slab behind the white Tesla transformers.

Any alternative to Oxnads and the overloaded Culver City location is a good alternative. Looking forward to this one.

I saw that they had a Backhoe out there on Saturday. Maybe in the homestretch now?

On my way home at 10:30 pm last night, as I got off the freeway, the right lane was closed adjacent to the Oaks entrance. An Edison truck was parked on the sidewalk; my assumption is they were making the final electrical connections. We will see....

Checked out this location today. Easy to get to from the freeway but a little more difficult to get back. Much better than Westlake Village and Oxnard. Closer to food and bathrooms too. I thought it was open but there is a small fence like obstacle blocking only the entryway.

Drove by tonight. Fencing is down, landscaping looks good, and one guy is Working on one of the open supercharger units. They have a small barricade in front of the entrances to the area. If I had to guess, it will be on tomorrow.

Here are a couple shots from above today. I didn’t realize until now that there are two entrances. Also, the small fences have the mall’s label on it, as opposed to being plain or having another label.
