By the way, they've been doing some sort of underground construction about 50 feet away in the parking lot. Perhaps they are upgrading some electrical systems?

If I'm not mistaken the underground construction is for the ATM since they are re-doing the chase behind starbucks. Yes overall the project has stalled. Still missing the main component which is the transformer behind the fence. Right now just a big hole there with plywood covering it up. Until that's installed nothing can proceed.

My understanding (about 4th hand so it might be nonsense) is that some of the heavy duty electrical gear is in short supply atm, so it might just be lack of parts.

Still no xfmr. Maybe Tesla needs to get in the xfmr business and provide them to the Utility!

Passed by this morning and saw that the transformer has been installed! Lights for the units are still off. Seems like any day now.

Just took a look here. It looks ready for service but doesn’t show up on the Nav map. Inspection hold up??? It’s been this way for at least a few days. I didn’t try hooking up.

Now that the transformer is onsite, they will have to have the fire marshal back onsite to give Fire Approval before the Public Works Final Approval.

And this is from the electric permit for the site (EL21-0475). No wheel stops, no final electrical.

No, there are bollards and the concrete bases the charging posts attach to but there are no parking stops. Based on the pictures posted here so far. Have these been installed?

Stopped by yesterday on our visit to Seattle and sadly, this Supercharger is not yet up and running. There is one missing wheel stop (see photo) and I wonder if that’s the reason.

Stopped by this evening and the fencing is now completed around the cabinets. The wheel stop is still missing from the end stall. Once that final wheel stop is installed the charger should be open…

Per the Tukwila website, this has still not passed final electrical, Fire or Public Works final permitting.
