Supercharger - Valley Stream, NY

Spotted a new Supercharger installation at Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream, NY.
They are currently fenced off (and covered in garbage bags) in a parking lot behind Best Buy/near Bronx BBQ. I counted 11 stalls, but I assume they always come in pairs, so maybe a 12th hasn't been installed yet?

Looks almost complete. You can see the concrete pedestal in the 1st pic for where the 12th one would go

And... its already on supercharge.info! Man that guy is good.

Shame it looks like the lower power urban supercharger.

There are 8 supercharger cabinets so in theory there could be 16 charging stalls eventually.

I'm betting this site will have 16 stalls. I've yet to visit a supercharger that didn't have two per charger.

I wouldn't charge here for long overnight but during the day you're fine to sit in your car and not leave it unattended

Fences were taken down today.

Electric power meter installed Wednesday.

Friday at 9:30am I saw power company trucks at the site as my LIRR train went by.
I went there when I got home from work. The power meter is now energised.
I knew it would not work yet but I plugged the car in just in case.
It did not charge.

These are Urban Superchargers.
They are usually 72 kW.
All 16 stalls should be capable of supplying 72 kW simultaneously to all cars.
