Would anyone be interested in an ad hoc, unoffical, Ribbon Cutting/dedication after this location goes live.A bunch of us have done them around here in PA. (You can look up the Harrisburg, Moosic, Allentown locations to see comments and pictures.) In the Moosic, PA location we ended up on the local TV station too.)

All in seriousness, they're used either for liquid or dirt run-off. mrElbe, dumb as it sounds, I'm willing to bet you're right. I'm sure the government has these classified as "refueling stations"!

Drove by today and the "green snake" is gone with little orange cones and plastic over the charging stations. Looks like we are still waiting for the transformer to be installed on the concrete footing that has caution tape around it. Count me in for the Ribbon Cutting.

Interesting stall arrangement. And I've never seen the AC/DC cabinets not behind a locked enclosure, but the bushes seem to point to the possibility.

Most of the SCs I've been to have the locked fence enclosure. The only exception I've noticed is Harrisburg, PA

Darien, CT, Milford, CT rest stop as well as the newest Milford, CT SpC at the mall with 14 stations do not have enclosures. It probably is based upon local code requirements.

Grimsby, ON Canada also does not have an enclosure. The equipment is exposed just as in @abrahamw88's photo above.

You are probably right.

Looking back over my pics I see Waterloo, NY doesn't have an enclosure. I think Waterloo is the closest SC to Rochester.

Still no transformer. Looks as if they're at the, "All dressed up and waiting to GO!" stage. The utility will have to deliver the transformer and then energize it. After that the installers and acceptance team will turn the power on and run their tests. Will be interesting to see how long the utility takes. The delay in Buffalo was frustrating.

That delay in Buffalo brought me to your house to charge, so it wasn't all bad.

Well, that's true. At least I have my Son's NEMA 14-50 outlet to use if the SC isn't up and using the motels 120V line is not enough. They would not be listing it on Plugshare.

I was there yesterday and can confirm the transformer is in, but no meter yet.
