Ladies and gentlemen,
I'm more than excited to say that Target is indeed hosting a supercharger in Villa Park, IL and construction is under way. Too bad I didn't have enough time to count how many stalls are going to be there.

Is this at the 50 East North Avenue location?

I’m surprised to see that this isn’t on Supercharge.info yet. Was there anything that actually said “Tesla” on it to confirm it’s def a Supercharger and not a CCS charger?

It sure looks like a Supercharger installation, but I can't be 100% sure. If someone can get pictures of the conduit layout for the stalls, or pictures showing Tesla specific equipment, we should have enough info to add it to supercharge.info.

Finally found time to stop by and get more pictures. We are in the business, counted 16 stalls and 2 I believed Level 2 chargers. Still under construction though, but I think it will be launched very soon.

Stoped by Tuesday, definitely getting closer to being online. Comed was hooking up the transformer and contractor was finishing the wiring. The level 2 chargers appear to be charge point units two posts with four plugs.

Not much more progress as of today, but it won't be long. The meters were not yet installed, but I think they're probably done with the physical wiring and installation. This is a very long bank of cabinets (16)! The two ChargePoint units at the north end seem to be powered up, or at least their displays were lit.

Advanced Data Technology was on site pulling more wires on Tuesday May 2nd. They were terminated in the supercharger cabinets not sure if they went to the transformer or something else. I am guessing that they are the main power from the transformer based on the size the empty spools, looked to be about 3ft in diameter. Still no meters in the sockets.

Was driving by around noon today the fence is down both meters are installed and a couple ComEd employees were in a van next to the two meters. Not sure if they are waiting for a contractor or something else possibly just taking a lunch break. Power did not seem to be on on the at the chargers yet, but I did not try to plug in. I will see if I can stop by on my way home to see if it is online.
