No progress as of today. I looked around for a meter or anywhere a meter might obviously be mounted and did not see anything. Not sure whether it would typically be mounted on the transformer, be in the underground vault, or somewhere else. I agree with Mdsbrain - the construction that's going on in the parking lot makes it a lot less visible, but I haven't seen a space ICEd on a single visit.

Activity? About an hour ago. View attachment 606825

Didn't you stay to supervise and ask them when they were turning it on?;) let us know if the transformer is humming when you go back.

I would have said that was metering department, but they were in the HV termination landing compartment on the transformer. So maybe they landed the cables today. And did metering. The large truck is HV splicers the little on is probably meter truck.

I was going to post on the simple fact this site has no meter socket based on the pictures. The gear is the same as Chantilly. The first grey cabinet would hold the meter IF it is Pepco approved for metering. IF not they will have to add a meter stand like Chantilly did. I saw inside the gear when it was set at CHantilly/ SouthRiding.

I talked with a Pepco worker on site a little while ago. He confirmed that the only thing missing was the meter. He didn’t know when it would be installed.
