I stopped by to check on progress on my way up to VT today. Still missing the transformer. Otherwise, it looks ready to go.

Met up with someone while charging at Auburn, who had tried to charge at W Springfield. There was an electric co truck there, but no transformer. The truck's crew said two weeks.

Production and completion for this location may be slowed down a bit for several more days, huge storm headed for this area.

Excellent! I wonder how long before they turn it up? Does the opening of a supercharger usually result in some "pomp and circumstance" or is it just a notification via email and everyone shows up for chat?
Andydoty, it depends on the location of the charger. The Tesla charging team held a rally from Natick MA to the Sagamore SC to commemorate its opening. I asked them if they would do the same for the Auburn one. They said generally they show up to those that are high profile and would generate interest by the media. Sagamore was the first SC in MA.

Bluespark, I would be game for that as well. Here's hoping they let us know. I'm going to drive by there today to see if anything is going on (it's only a 5 minute ride from here).
I just drove by there. I didn't have the nerve to try them. The transformer is in place and there is a cone in front of it. Is there any other indication that they're working? I have only used superchargers twice so far. Is the Tesla backlit?
So was I. Then was stuck in a boat load of traffic. I imagine the weather has something to do with it.
I guess there isn't going to be any pomp and circumstance. Did you just drive by or were you notified?
I thought about stopping by on my way up last night. Oh well. Glad it is finally up and running. Way to go Tesla!

Official notifications seem to take a little while. IIRC, Burlington, Hooksett, Auburn, and I think Sagamore were reported to be live a few days before I got the announcement email.
Although West Springfield already shows as live on the Tesla map and list pages. I sent a quick note to [email protected] to let Blueshift know.
