Here's the latest. Looks like all of the hardware is in, and the trenches have been filled. I didn't get a shot of it, but the transformers also looked complete. Open by New Years??

It's possible, but without seeing that the utility transformer is in already it's hard to really say anything about timing. Things that your pictures showed for sure that need to be finished are:
Painting the parking lines.
Installing Tesla parking signs.
Installing the lamp post.
Final electrical/building inspections.
Tesla testing and commissioning the chargers.
Depending on the state of the back-end hardware there could be other things as well. But just the list above usually takes 3 or 4 days to all get finished assuming no surprises.
12/19/2018, during lunch time. Almost there..... they’re just waiting for city to give them the green light.
72kW each stall, no sharing with your neighbors stall. That’s nice

Nice pics. They still need to install the lamp post on the concrete pedestal in that first picture (between stalls 2 & 3 from the right). And all the Tesla Parking signs need to be put up, too. But that looks like it'll be it on physical construction things. The rest will be any outstanding inspections and Tesla's commissioning.
Tesla's map doesn't update to the actual location until usually a day or two after the site is live. The grey "coming soon" pins are placed only on the default jurisdiction location assigned by google maps. In this case "Westminster, CA." So, if you were to ask google maps for driving directions from somewhere to Westminster, CA, the end point will be exactly where the grey pin has been placed. Usually this is so that the pin will appear over the middle letter of the jurisdiction name.
Nice, looking forward to this! I wonder why they opted for charging stations that don't require backing up. Is this how busier supercharger locations are set up?

Wow that is great news, this Westminster location couldn't have come soon enough. The Fountain Valley and Santa Ana locations were not cutting it. It'll be great to see a few more in Costa Mesa, Irvine, Tustin, Newport area.
