Supercharger - Westminster, MD

Tickets have been filed for surveys by Control Point Associates for a new Supercharger in Westminster and another in Annapolis.

The Westminster one will be built at the Royal Farms at 720 Corporate Center Ct. The station opened just a few weeks ago.

The town of Mount Airy did install one Tesla charger at the municipal parking lot. This picture was taken last May:

I haven't been there recently to see its status, I assume it is still there.

Ellicott City and Columbia most definitely. It baffles me that Howard County has no superchargers, however there are lots of J1772 chargers throughout Columbia. There’s are EVGo chargers with Tesla plugs in Columbia and Elicott City, but a supercharger would be nice.

But anyway, congrats to Westminster.

I believe they are referencing 'Superchargers. These 'home' chargers are prevalent.

No permits filed yet per Carrol County Accela. However, there is a new site survey at the Home Depot in Westminster by the company that has been doing these for SC locations in MD. Company listed as work being done for (Kimley-Horn) has assisted Tesla on projects in the past, including Gigafactory Austin. Will have to keep checking Miss Utility and Accela for updates on either of these potential sites. Or maybe both will move forward.
