I live in Weston and this is a good location. Plenty of places to eat at the strip mall. Argentinean restaurant, sushi place, American-style cafe, nitrogen ice cream place for the kids. Access to I75 is also easy. The only downside is that the parking lot can get a little crowded, hopefully ICEing doesn’t become an issue.

I was a little surprised to see this one come up, it had been in Tesla’s map for ages and then disappeared in one of the last revisions. The Pembroke Pines location is also very near and doesn’t seem too crowded. But, there are lots of Teslas in the area…

Quick update, I drove by the location and there is still no construction or any material on site. It appears as if the permitting process is still ongoing.

the fact that there’s been no progress since initial (rejected) permit submission in June 2021 and Tesla has removed this supercharger from their “coming soon” map leads me to think that this supercharger installation has been canceled. What do you guys think?

There's a site plan in work that was applied for in Q4 2021 which would imply this site is dead, but in the processing status, it has payment received 01/09/2023.

Yes, the permit sat in “waiting for applicant” status for most of last year but is now “in review”. I assume that means Tesl or whomever submitted something and the process hs started again.
