just curious - is it common elsewhere to have Superchargers in a pay-parking lot?

Not sure if it's normal for this location, but I failed to reserve charging spot since it's already full. (and two spots were invaded by ICE cars)

There are HPWCs right near the supercharger. I would just plug into one of those and wait for a supercharger stall to come open. As for the ICEing, I would tell someone at the hotel and hope they do something about it.

If you are just there to charge just drop the car off with a valet or drive back out and let them know. They will take your car to one of their four valet destination chargers. They won't leave you hanging. They can't do much about the ICEing, and sometimes they ice the spots - but, there are 12 other spots to plug in at 17kW.

I just stayed there and there was no Tesla store in the Fairmont. There are 6 public and 4 valet Destination Chargers, 10 HPWC's, and ~2 clipper creek chargers.

$5/hour, unless you want valet, then $39 flat fee.

It's also useful to know that the first few minutes are free if all the stalls are full and you decide to exit within the first 10 minutes or so. The gate let me out without asking for payment.

At least one or two of the supercharger stalls are always ICEd or occupied by Teslas that are not charging.
