It is a 1/4 million sq miles, basically the size of Texas, with less than 1.2 million people. There's a whole lot of space with nobody to pay for paving it.
The great Pedestal flood is beginning.
We were in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick in September, and pedestals were being installed in Woodstock, and Salisbury, and the crews told us they were finishing up several others like in Medway, Maine.
We also visited GigaFactory 2 in Buffalo and unlike the biased news media reports of no activity, the employee parking lot was full of cars and the security guards told us their were tons of folks at work there, so I suspect the delay in deliveries could have been ,shifting production from Fremont to Buffalo and the production spin up of V3 Superchargers. We’ve charged at 156 different SpCs across 35 states and 4 provinces and are planning our next tour across western Canada. Bijou, Colorado based & 120,000 miles of Tesla driving (Model S & Model 3).

We were in Buffalo at GigaFactory 2 about Sept. 13, 2019, late on a Saturday afternoon and there was a lot of activity with a full employee parking and lots of traffic in and out. Two gate guards we visited with said there were tons of folks who worked there during the week and one was admiring our Model 3, saying he was saving up to buy one.
I expect Tesla will open all these locations in one sweep, so if someone follows the engineer at all Superchargers, that will make for a lot of first visits!
