If you look around at the 'under construction' superchargers, an amazing number of them are all done, but waiting on pedestals !

There must be a production problem, or a redesign that makes the old pedestals incompatible.

Note that they used prefabricated pedestal bases here in Henrietta, which was new.

Actual activity today. The electricians where there running wires between the small transformers and the back end power modules. They also appear to all be tied in to a control/switching cabinet. Maybe this means that some pedestals will be arriving soon. I will not be able to swing by again until next week. I would love to come back next week and see some pedestals.

They were some pretty massively thick wires that they were running... A lot of power....

I talked to the technician and he told me that he had a non disclosure agreement and he couldn't talk about anything. Is not working for Tesla so hes not sure the rest will come. He said he was trying to finish his work this week.

Thanks for the update! With some luck, these may be up and working by the end of September!

    Thanks for the photos.

    No pedestals and no meter.

The meter is no big deal once everything else is in place.

The pedestal shortage nationwide is a curiosity.

Even more of a curiosity are the locations that at first had no pedestals, then got them installed and STILL are not opened.

One such example is Webster Tx where the GC may have made errors and municipalities requesting additional items...but utility power was turned on today.

Went by today, no noticeable activity. I assume they finished up wiring between their transformers and cabinets. But, the meter still has not been set and no sign of the pedestals. The fence posts are still up, but the fence is still missing.

Another day, another visit... No progress. But, it does look like they could have been working on sprinklers, a wooden pallet was over a hole in the ground that looked like it was caused by broken pipe. Close to the main transformer. Perhaps there were sprinklers going to the now dead trees...
