Just reported on Facebook today. Someone found a Supercharger under construction in Wilmington! This is a nice addition to the NC map. Apparently it's in the Mayfaire Town Center.

Never saw this as a permit site at supercharge.info! Glad Tesla is working on the SE USA supercharger network. This is probably the crew that recently finished Myrtle Beach. Hopefully Statesville next then Charlottesville.
That would be a TriFecta for us as we're going to Indianapolis from Durham late summer and Charlottesville would make for a less roundabout route.
I was there a couple of months ago. I love the location. I remember telling my girlfriend that it would be an excellent supercharger location. Maybe someone at Tesla heard our conversation about it.
+1....when Mayfaire is completed, Tesla will have made it feasible to go from Wilmington to Savannah through Charleston and avoiding I40/I95.
The only thing that raises concerns for me, is that that plaza is very busy on a regular basis. But our trips from Charlotte become no-brainers with this.
It looks just about finished! I wonder if the construction crew is going to Statesville or Florence next...
Well, Unfortunately I was there again yesterday and still no power. It's going to be great when they get i up and running.
Yes it will. I was in town for Mother's Day yesterday and had to charge at the Market St parking deck. We ate and then walked the River Walk. 4 hours later, I had enough juice to make it to the Warsaw Supercharger.
