Supercharger - Woodstock, GA

Thanks to one of my Twitter followers for sending me the permit for the future Woodstock Supercharger.

8-12 stalls are coming soon to the Holiday Inn Express Woodstock, near the Premium Outlets. Construction has not started yet, per my source.

Woodstock is fairly close to Acworth. Seems it might have been better up in Canton or at least Holly Springs. Maybe even some other spot in the Metro to get more coverage.

Went by today and ask the Holiday Inn staff including on duty manager and they have no clue or information about the supercharger installation.

So true! Like right off exit 20 would be ideal. The outlets patrons will over run it.

Was curious where the Woodstock location was going to be. Assumed it would be near the Outlets.

And agree, the 575 corridor needs more. Would love to see an SC in Blue Ridge and also Bryson City to make the mountain drive to the Asheville area more reasonable.

Based on that description and the photo, I think they are across the street from the hotel, here: 34°07'04.8"N 84°31'47.9"W · Cherokee County School District, GA

Superchargers 99% finished. Transformer meter still missing. Everything else appears complete.

In a local owners group, this was reported to be 12 stations.

12 is correct. The picture shows one that is obstructed by the charger in the middle of the photo.

I seen two reports elsewhere (in a private Facebook group) that this is actually online. I don't understand how the jives with a missing meter, but whatever Keep checking your navigation screens!

I guess I can use this if I need a quick fill up after being out of town. Although my house a few miles away as well as my office.

As for my office, if someone needs some charge and can deal with only 11.5kw, my Tesla wall connector is available for free that I installed. There is also a J1772 at 7.2kw. No charge to use either. At the corner of Canton Road and Shallowford. 4451 Canton Road on the side parking lot.

Confirmed operational. Meter box is locked so I assume the meter is installed. Tesla logo is lit.

It’s a nice site, and I think the location is probably the best chance of not getting ICE’d most days.

I’d still bet these will get ICE’d during holidays, especially around November/December holidays and back to school season.
