Supercharger - Yermo, CA (LIVE 21 Nov 2017, 18 V2 Stalls)

This Supercharger along with Barstow, Baker and Primm are needed to be in service to accommodate all the attendees driving to and from this convention along I-15.

I have enjoyed driving to CES and the Supercharger at Barstow since 2013. Always enough Supercharger availability when I drove through. The early years were busy in Las Vegas. Hotel EVSE were jammed with Teslas, Leafs, Volts and other EVs. The simple solution was to pay $20 at the RV Park at Circus Circus for 24 hours of charge and park time. Be thankful in 2018 for the amazing number of Superchargers on the I-15 route and in Las Vegas.

I’m glad this location is open, even if only “temporarily”. I noted that on the Tesla Find Us page the icon for this location is gray, not red, indicating it is not open. See Find Us | Tesla

Drove by last Saturday. Looks turn-key. Still have construction fencing up but construction appears complete. Painting seems finished and windows look like they have been cleaned. Definitely getting close. Finally!!

Not 1/1/18 after all . FB page said that it would be soon but not 1/1. I speculate that on 1/14/18, the “Temporary" will be changed to permanent and EW will be finally open for business. We will see.

That's about all there is. Nothing else within walking distance for now, but the gas station will be opening in the future. It's a great location for a speedy charge, though.

There is a two stall porta-potty parked next to the Superchargers. Flush toilets and a sink with running water. Security guard stationed there making sure no one tries getting into Eddie World. He said the main building may soft open on 1-8. Just passed through on the way to Vegas.

Two Model S's pulled into the empty site at 7am as we were leaving.

Eddie World has announced on their Facebook page that they will be opening on January 8, to be open 24/7 thereafter.

Bathroom hallway is hidden between the water display and Pepsi sign. Unusual construction quality, especially the drainage floor.

Interior photos from Jan 10. Expect more merchandise and food choices as Eddie World approaches their Grand Opening in March. The interior size has the potential for as much creativity that they can dream up. With an emphasis on candy, nuts, snacks and plush on the center shelves, this is not your typical gas station. The outer edge features various tempting specialty foods as the signage in the photos indicate. A latte was served quickly and the Lemon Pepper Jerky is tender, tasty and of high quality. Others can report on their choices. Many visits are needed to enjoy all Eddie World has to offer. With no waitress service, think more of a mall sized food court with ample seating on the west side. The pizza ovens look fantastic and there appear to be double the number of ice cream drum locations than the 24 flavors planned. This sets a new standard for Tesla Supercharger amenity variety for everyone. While packaged items are available 24/7, don’t expect the fresh food vendors to be open late at night. We will know more as visitors report their experiences. Enjoy!
